| Arrogance or Elegance? We have both for your discretion. When one mentions the word stallion, romantic thoughts of wild horses running free, and bold, powerful stallions herding their mares through the plains immediately comes to mind. Dreams, romantic novels, and movies have all been based on these images with the young and old alike. Here at Pondering Oaks, we feel that we have captured these images in the live flesh of Happy Hooligan, OK and Texaco MGS. Happy Hooligan, OK an arrogant, Foundation certified Classic stallion embodies what a herd sire should be. He has the pedigree that many would be proud of. Not only tracing back to 4 immediate Hall of Fame inductees, but to Congress/World Champions, Pony of the Year, and Superior Sires and Dam. This alone should mean greatness in this young stallion's future. Bloodlines alone don't make a pony. Happy's conformation is fitting of a Hall of Famer and a herd sire. Start with his arrogant expression chiseled on a true stallion's head with well set ears and expressive eyes. His neck flows easily from his shoulder allowing plenty of reach while his throatlatch ties in trimly to his poll. A slopeing shoulder provides ample motion while a supple hip provides impulsion. A beautiful top line and croup reminds you of a recent grandsire. All of this set perfectly on 4 straight white legs. This powerful stallion is screaming to DRIVE ON! While Happy emits the arrogance of a well bred stallion, Texaco MGS quietly makes his mark with sophisticated elegance. A Foundation certified Classic stallion, he also has a pedigree to be proud of. A grandson of the renowned Pony of the Year and Multi-Congress Champion, Michigan's Action Jackson, he is a sight to behold. A beautiful dished head carries well set ears and expressive eyes that quietly tell you that he is the one. This beautiful head is well set on a long, elegant, upright neck that reminds one of a swan, complete with a beautiful throatlatch. His neck ties in well with a large shoulder which equals an equally powerful hip. A beautiful top line and tail set with nice, straight legs finishes this junior stallion out. He truely is a sight to behold and savor. The future is young and bright with these two fine stallions. We look forward to the future that is laid out before them and are honored to hold the lead. We eagerly anticipate Happy's first foal in 2008 and look forward to a future foal crop from Texaco in 2009. At this time, we do not stand these stallions to outside mares. However, certain mares may be considered at Private Treaty. |
